Warner Bros. and Netherrealm have announced a $99.99 limited collector's edition of their upcoming DC Universe fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. The collector's edition, coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, will include a statue as well as additional DLC not included in the standalone release.
And depending on where you live, Batman and Wonder Woman will either fight to a standstill, or the Amazonian princess will deliver a handy beating to the Dark Knight.
The image at the top of this post is from the European release and features versions of Batman and Wonder Woman that we're all more familiar with, while the version below has the DC stalwarts all armored up, with the Caped Crusader taking what looks like a thorough beating from WW. How's Batman even lifting Wonder Woman up in that first one? Was she lunging at him and Bats grabbed her in mid-air? Weird.
The UK version of the game will also include a steelbook case for Injustice and both releases will include the following extras:
- Exclusive 13" Injustice Collectible statue featuring iconic characters Batman and Wonder Woman
- Two issues of a brand new DC Comics series
- Digital download of DC Universe animated film Justice League: Doom
- Three exclusive skins based on Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman from DC COMICS– THE NEW 52
Injustice: Gods Among Us will be available in April 2013 for the 360, PS3, and Wii U.
